Spent a lot of the two days before reading those books I found. Not so much childhood books in fact. That's The amulet of Samarkand and The eye of the golem by Jonathan Stroud. Nice little story, pretty grim humour and dark outlook. Modern world with magic twist, but every magicians are able to do magic only because of the spirits they summon and ( Read more... )
